COMMUNICATION WITH ETA

ETA works exclusively with accredited employers and centres. Questions from learners should therefore be initially directed to the centre at which they were registered and completed their program or qualification.

Note: This includes learner enquiries regarding certificates, either original or replacement. If your enquiry is directly related to ETA, please visit the Contact Us page for details of how to get in touch.

Appeals and Complaints

Should a learner have cause for concern regarding any aspect of their assessment, this should be raised initially with the centre through the centre appeals procedure. Should this not provide a satisfactory outcome, a learner can then raise an appeal through the ETA Appeals and Complaints Procedure by emailing the Solutions and Compliance Manager (SCM) at peta@www.eta-awards.com

The SCM will review the information provided and contact both the learner and the centre to gather additional and necessary information to underpin the decision to be made.

Wherever possible, ETA will work with the centre to ensure that the appeal outcome is not only appropriate and satisfactory but that it supports the learner in continued learning at the centre.

"We were pleased with the level of commitment shown by the new team at ETA ... ETA’s strengthened system of controls and capability should enable it to maintain ongoing compliance with its Conditions of Recognition. I appreciate the efforts you and your colleagues have made”

Mr. Phil Beach
Executive Director for Vocational and Technical Qualifications, OFQUAL

Quality of Service

‘’We recently had an issue with a company who required their employees certificate as a matter of urgency. Rather than wait for the planned EQA Visit I was able to contact ETA who responded immediately and sanctioned an interim visit. The EQA called in to the college the following day and reviewed the candidates evidence. The EQA sent through his report and the candidate was in receipt of his certificate on the third day. This issue was dealt with professionally, decisively and with the minimum of fuss while maintaining the integrity of the EQA process. This is the kind of personal service that places ETA ahead of the competition.’’

Working with Industry

‘’We have worked on a number of industrial projects in partnership with ETA. Through their supportive and innovative approaches, we were able to design and deliver a range of on site assessment programmes that made collection of evidence easier that it would normally would have been. This involved the use of work based recorders and using an integral approach with the production systems that are in place in the organisations. ETA really understand the industry and their needs!’’

Customer Service

‘’From the first moment you speak to the office you just know you will get the assistance you require. All requests and communications are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner.’’
