ETA are delighted to announce the securing of THREE quality frameworks: Investors in People, Disability Confident and ISO 9001.
Disability Confident is designed to “encourage employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop disabled people… It was developed by employers and disabled people’s representatives to make it rigorous but easily accessible, particularly for smaller businesses”
Founded in 1991, Investors in People introduces a framework of “continuous improvement and employee recognition” across the millions of people working within accredited organisations. Assessor Joanne Lever stated:
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank ETC Awards Ltd for their commitment and investment to the Investors in People process as a platform for review and feedback. Particular thanks must go to Michael Hunt, MD for organising the preparation meeting, gathering relevant information for the desktop review and making all the arrangements for my visits. I would like to thank all the staff for their warm welcome and openness during the away day and interviews; staff were friendly and honest and enthusiastic about the process. I look forward to working with ETC Awards Ltd as they move forward on their Investors in People journey”
At the heart of ISO 9001 is the implementation of a quality management system to identify workplace objectives/opportunities and put customers first. ISO 9001 seeks for its accredited organisations to “work in a more efficient way with all processes aligned and understood by everyone in the business or organization. This increases productivity and efficiency, bringing internal costs down”. Stacey Groome of Alcumus, who conducted the ISO 9001 audit, outlined that:
“There was a strong customer focus evidenced throughout the audit. The leadership team are fully engaged with the day-to-day planning and operation of the business and were keen to achieve certification. This is a fairly new business but there had been a lot of work completed prior to and following the stage 1 audit”
The achievement of these frameworks is yet another indicator of the strong progress eta has made since re-launch in early 2018, as we strive to ensure this positive direction of travel continues long into the future!
